HELP PROMOTE AGRICULTURE

California Women for Agriculture (CWA)  members are comprised of active farm, ranch and nursery operators and partners, agricultural trade association, and commodity group leaders.  CWA fills the much-needed role of an informed and actively involved group of volunteers supporting agriculture.

We invite you to visit one of our meetings or attend an event. Our members are more than happy to answer any questions you may have about the organization and how you can join.

Our chapter covers Fresno and Madera counties in the Central Valley region of California.

CWA's basic role is to help its members develop the knowledge and skills necessary to convey the mutual benefits of a vibrant agricultural economy and healthy rural communities to those who are in positions to impact the future of agriculture in California.

SUCCESSFUL

SCHOLARSHIP FUNDRAISER

A big THANK YOU to Chef  Diana Reis of Delicious by Design who taught us how to make some amazing, delicious Mediterranean dishes for our Scholarship Fundraiser on August 5, 2020.  It was a wonderful, virtual culinary experience!"

For 42 years the Ag Boosters BBQ has helped raise over $1 million to support Fresno State agriculture and California Women for Agriculture.  Every year, thanks to many generous and loyal supporters like you, Ag One and CWA have helped deserving students attain their college education (Ag One) and advocate for agriculture to our elected officials (CWA). We are very grateful to the agricultural community who has stood with us to ensure there are well educated leaders today and for the future.

Please help support CWA and Ag One by participating in their virtual auction beginning Sept. 1 and closing Sept. 13.  There will be many wonderful items - you can preview some of the items on the link above with more awesome items to follow.
